Police: Man robs two Granbury motels

Wednesday, February 6, 2019

Robberies occurred at two Granbury motels early Wednesday morning, police said. About 2:30 a.m. a male entered a motel and demanded money from the clerk, according to police Lt. Russell Grizzard. "After getting the money, he went across the street to another motel and demanded money from the clerk at that location and fled on foot," Grizzard said. "It is unknown if he had a vehicle parked in the area." The man is described as a white male with possibly red or sandy blonde hair, approximately 5’10”-6’ tall and 200 pounds and wearing a blue ski mask and grey sweatsuit. There was no weapon displayed. Police did not say how much money was taken in the robberies. Another robbery occurred on Feb. 4 in a Granbury grocery store parking lot, but police don't believe the robberies are related.
