Republican congressional field draws female candidate

Friday, November 8, 2019

Cynthia Breyman, a former English and math teacher from Andrews and a former member of the Howard County School Board, has entered the competition for the District 11 seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. The list of Republicans competing for that seat still numbers 10, though, because Wacey Alpha Cody has reportedly switched to the Libertarian Party. One Democratic candidate and one independent candidate are also seeking the seat.
