Wednesday, October 9, 2019

A man gave new meaning to the term “wedding crasher” when he showed up uninvited to a wedding celebration and allegedly hit a 30-year-old male with his vehicle during an argument over loud music.

The incident happened in the 900 block of Pecos River Drive at about 2 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.

Deputies arrested Raymond Silva Jr.

The victim was transported to Lake Granbury Medical Center where he was treated and released with minor injuries, according to Public Information Officer Lt. Johnny Rose.

Rose said that Silva was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony. His bond was set at $20,000.
