Mary C. Donarumo of Granbury, TX died in Granbury, Texas on May 26th, 2019. She was born in New York City in 1924 and worked for Western Electric doing defense work during WW II. She married Albert Donarumo in 1943, following his return from active duty in the Army Air Corps, and they settled in New York City. After retirement in 1972, they moved to Seminole, Florida, where Mary volunteered for more than 20 years at The Mease Hospital in Dunedin, Florida. They were avid travelers and especially enjoyed cruising. Growing up in the 1930's and '40s, Mary enjoyed attending live concerts by the swing era megastars, and especially Frank Sinatra, at the Paramount theater in New York. In 2014 she moved to Granbury to be close to family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Albert, parents Anna and Thomas Mahoney, sister Nora Wylie, brothers, James, Thomas, William, John, and Joseph Mahoney, and son-in-law James Rolston.
